Anaerobic products for locking, sealing and gasketing. AJett sealants can be used on all types of pipe connections – water, hydraulic, pneumatic, gas and oil to replace hemp, tape and dope.
AJett 311 Pipe sealant
Medium strength grade for instant low pressure seals on coarse threads. Replaces tapes, pastes and hemp. Can be undone with hand tools. Thixotropic.
Typical uses All types of pipework – water, steam, gas and oil (but not pure oxygen).
Colour Yellow fluorescent
Viscosity at 25°C 24,000 mPas
Maximum gap fill 0.15 mm
Shear strength 6 to 15 N/mm²
Handling strength instant
Temperature range -50 to +150°C
Packaging 50 ml accordion pack

For high pressure sealing of all hydraulic and pneumatic connections up to 20 mm diameter and small pipe threads. Instant, low pressure seal. Can be undone with hand tools.
Typical uses Sealing fine, parallel and tapered metal threads on machine tools; automotive systems.
